5. Frontglas Defroster Heater
The Photo Webcam front glass defroster heater creates a clear view even in extreme conditions from -30°C. After only 30 minutes a completely iced front window is again free of ice.
Caution
The heater increases the temperature towards the ambient air temperature up to 50°C. With temperatures over 0°C the heater should only be used if it is controlled. Put the defroster heater into the inside of the frame with the ventilators turned forward. The heater does not have to be secured.
Voltage supply
Because of the increased power consumption, the voltage supply via PoE+ is not suitable. To guarantee the smooth operation with the front glass defroster heater, supply the camera with voltage directly over P2 with 12.5-56 VDC or via a passive PoE Injector.
Voltage Supply | Specification |
---|---|
At P5 (RJ45) Passive PoE | With Passive PoE Injector or e.g. 50 volt PoE Injector 60 watt from Ubiquity manufacturer number: POE-50-60W |
At P2 | 12.5-56 VDC / >40 watt |
