Defroster-Heizung von innen mit den Ventilatoren nach vorne gerichtet in den Rahmen stellen. Die Heizung muss nicht gesichert werden.

Warnung

Die Heizung wird sehr heiss. Es besteht Verbrennungsgefahr. Es dürfen keine brennbaren Gegenstände und Drähte die Heizwiderstände berühren oder in deren Nähe kommen.

  • Power up “Universal Power Supply for Photo Webcam” with:
    • PoE passive Injector connected to P5 providing 24VDC to 56VDC / 60W or
    • Power supply connected to P2 providing 12.5 to 56 VDC / 60W
  • Disconnect Jumper JP3
  • Add Jumper JP2
  • Connect Defroster Heater to P1. Heating power 12VDC / 32W

Heater modes

  • Heater controlled by external signal
    This mode is recommended to de-ice camera front window down to -30°C
    • Place jumper JP7 to EXT side
    • Connect P8 to external signal. To enable heater, connect pin 1 to GND and pin 4 to +5VDC. To disable, leave open or connect pin 4 to GND.
  • Heater temperature controlled
    Temperature measured by “Universal Power Supply for Photo Webcam”. Heating will be active below +5°C. This mode will not allow to deice front window under all conditions.
    • Place jumper JP7 to TEMP side
    • Do not connect P8
  • Heater always on

Danger! This mode is not recommended! This configuration may destroy your equipment or cause fire. Expect temperature to raise +45°C above ambient temperature.

  • To enable disconnect jumper JP7
  • On board heater/blower
    Heater/blower will be active below +5°C. Blower will be active above +25°C to cool camera.
    Heating power is approximately 6W.
    • Add jumper JP8
