3. Camera Controller

To control the Photo Webcam, we recommend using Raspberry Pi 3 Model B. Raspberry PI is particularly ideal to control cameras. Avisec offers two different solutions:

  • Managed solution with yellow.webcam portal-account
  • Do-it-yourself-solution with free of charge yellow lite-Client

Managed Camera Controller

The camera controller controls and monitors the camera, heater and sends the pictures to the yellow-cloud. The following functions can be controlled via https://portal.yellow.webcam

Covering LEDs

To avoid light reflections from the LEDs, you can cover them with a dark lacquer. Commercially available nail polish without additives is suitable.

Mounting Camera Controller

To avoid a short-circuit, the Raspberry Pi has to be mounted with plastic distance holders.
